Rahul Banerji

Sales Director

Rahul Banerji leads lending sales for Finastra for a number of European geographies, including UK Ireland, Benelux and Israel.

Rahul has spent 22+ years in technology and prior to Finastra was with Oracle financial services for 10 years. He has also worked in a number of consulting and implementation roles prior.

Rahul has an MBA from London Busines School and a Batchelors in Computer Engineering from the University of New South Wales,  Sydney Australia.

Shilpa Bangera

Chief Revenue Officer- Product, Platform and Technology (Platform & Fintech)

Shilpa Bangera is a Global Fintech Strategy and Revenue leader with 20+ years in P&L ownership, Business growth, GTM Strategy and Operations with a strong understanding of cultural diversification with proven expertise in scaling business expansion across local and international markets.

In her current role at as a Chief Revenue Officer at Finastra, she leads the growth, development, marketing, and the GTM strategy for the platform and Data business steering co-innovation with customers, technology alliances and digital brands.

Her experience has included a diverse set of roles at financial technology firms like Uber, Bloomberg, London Stock Exchange Group, and Fiserv where she has led business growth, go-to-market strategies, operational excellence, and business transformation. She is driven by building businesses, solving complex problems, is a strong proponent of teamwork & diversity and has built highly productive teams with a culture that fosters equal partnership and excellence.

Shilpa has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from University of Mumbai. She serves on the advisory board for Zero Circle, focused on sustainability reporting, while promoting product provenance across the supply chain.

Based in New York, Shilpa enjoys spending time with her family, long distance running, and promoting regional art through her travels.

Sylvie Boucheron

Chief Revenue Officer, Payments (Payments)

Sylvie Boucheron-Saunier is the global Chief Revenue Officer for Finastra’s Payments organization.

An experienced senior executive with a knack for recruiting and coaching top talents around the world to drive accelerated revenue growth. She has a strong technology background and deep knowledge of the financial services & payments industry, from various perspectives – successively worked for a bank, a card vendor, a processor & merchant acquirer, and software providers.  

Sylvie joined Finastra from real-time payments solutions company ACI Worldwide where she has been for ten years holding a variety of leadership roles; showcasing strengths in rebuilding regions that had been neglected, diverse and highly complex. Sylvie is a strong advocate for the leadership and growth of women in the payments industry and continually looks for ways to provide mentorship, empower, while seeking inclusion and diversity in all roles. She is also passionate about giving back and helping to reduce poverty and inequalities particularly in Africa where she gives her time to NanoBNK, a FinTech offering digital banking solutions for unbanked populations in Africa, as well as a Board Member of the Anglo-African Group, present in several countries in Africa.

Sylvie has travelled the world and hold various degrees from her native country of France. She currently resides in Naples, FL where she pursues her passion of art and music. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting art exhibitions and going to rock concerts. She is also a painter and plans her next art exhibition in 2022.

Joined Finastra in January 2020 as Global head of OEM before joining the Payments Business Unit on June 1ST 2022.

Arnaud Delehaye

Global Strategic Account Executive

Arnaud is part of Finastra’s Global & Strategic Accounts team and is responsible for driving the account strategy, execution, and customer engagement of some our most strategic accounts, collaborating cross functionally with our team from payments, lending, treasury and capital markets, Banking as a Service, and platform. He brings almost two decades of experience in the financial services industry in consultative sales, business development and account management.

Prior to joining Finastra in September 2021, Arnaud worked at SWIFT in Paris for 10 years, most recently as Regional Director France. He joined SWIFT in 2012 as Sales Manager and was appointed Key Account Director in 2013 and Head of France in 2015. In addition to his role, he was appointed Strategic Relationship Manager in 2020. Prior to SWIFT, he has led various client relationship management positions in the financial services industry.
Arnaud graduated with an MSc in Management from IESEG School of Management, in France.

Brian Edmondson

Industry Principal, Global Sales (Trade, cash and corporate banking)

Brian is the Industry Principal for trade and working capital finance at Finastra bringing business knowledge and market insight and LOB strategy to the product and sales organization.

Brian has over 45 years experience providing solutions to banks across all business areas ranging from retail to treasury, investment, corporate, commercial and universal banking. Brian has led solutions in in Trade and Working Capital Finance solutions since 1992. He was formerly Executive Vice President at China Systems (Eximbills) based in Asia-Pac where he was responsible for Product Management and Professional Services eventually moving to MD in 2000. Brian then moved to Europe to become the Vertical Sales Lead for Financial Services at IBM.

In 2009 Brian joined Finastra and has been instrumental in growing the trade finance business to a discrete line of business at Finastra. Brain led the Model Bank concept for transaction based banking and the application of the global processing solution for large international banks. Brian has been the lead Solution Architect for global trade and working capital finance projects for tier 1 and leading regional banks.

Andreas Helbling

Sales Director (Financial Messaging Marketplaces)

Andreas is Finastra’s Country Head for Switzerland and is responsible for Financial Messaging sales in mainland Europe.
He brings more than 25 years of sales and management expertise in the technology industry, having previously held roles at SAS Institute and Avaloq. Andreas has been working for Finastra for more than 10 years.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen.

Luc Hovhannesian

CRO, Treasury & Capital Markets (Treasury and Capital Markets)

Luc Hovhannessian is the Chief Revenue Officer for Finastra’s Treasury and Capital Markets business unit (BU).  He has more than 20 years of experience working in software for the fintech industry, across the United States, Europe and Asia.  

At Finastra, he is responsible for driving the BU's global and regionally relevant growth strategy, ensuring seamless integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions, as well as nurturing new and existing customer relationships. Passionate about technology, Luc is also a key driver of Finastra’s innovation strategy, underpinned by its open platform for innovation, FusionFabric.cloud. 

Luc has a master’s degree in Mathematics, Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence from Pierre and Marie Curie University.

Gareth Johnson

Product Director, Finastra Financial Messaging (Financial Messaging Marketplaces)

Gareth is a Product Director in Finastra’s Financial Messaging Marketplaces business unit, located in London, UK with responsibility for the Fusion Total Messaging platform and related products which provide connectivity and workflow control for SWIFT and other market infrastructures and payment networks.

He has over 20 years’ experience with Financial Messaging and Cloud/SaaS services through management roles in Product, R&D and Service Bureau operations at Finastra, D+H, Fundtech and BankServ.

Robert Mancini

Head of Strategic Programs

Robert is a prominent senior executive with 30 years of experience in financial services with a diverse background in global banking, leading technology firms, and international research and consulting firms. He has worked in a senior capacity across diverse roles of four global banks and most recent role as head of financial services, commercial banking for an international bank. Robert has also been instrumental in building out strategic roadmaps for Global Banks via his consultancy days.

Since joining Finastra, he was tasked to playing a key role in helping bank partners shape their transformational journeys around corporate banking with a big focus on open banking. He has met key executives in some large Financial Institutions and has derived some key collaborative strategies that are affecting business imperatives including and not limited to operational efficiencies, client experience and future proofing the bank. Robert is also driving strategic programs with select partners to help scale and modernize new collaborative business models.

Oren Marmur

SVP, Chief Product Officer, Payments (Payments Product Strategy )

Oren Marmur is the Chief Product Officer for the Payments Business Unit at Finastra. Oren leads the Payments Growth business, delivering end-to-end Payments solutions to customers globally, while continuing to promote the product modernization journey towards a cloud-based platform and ecosystem.

Oren is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur, with a broad range of experience in senior management positions in both large and small organizations, and in driving organizations through change, challenges and business growth. Prior to Finastra he has spent six years with Amdocs, leading the NFV (Network Function Virtualization) product portfolio and business activities. In this role, he grew the new domain from incubation phase into a stable business, with a growing number of global customers.

He also recently led the business activities and solution sales for Amdocs Technology, the core Amdocs product line, focusing on digital evolution for communications service providers and their journey to the cloud. Prior to this, Oren was Chief Executive Officer at Mishor 3D, Chief Executive Officer at Mobix Wireless Solutions, VP and Head of Optical Networking and CESR Line of Business at ECI Telecom, and Founder and Chief Technology Officer at FlexLight Networks.

Andy Mason

MD Europe Sales Lending and Corporate Banking (Lending, trade, cash and corporate banking)

Andy Mason is responsible for Finastra’s Lending and Corporate Banking business development in Europe.

He has over 20 years of experience working with financial institutions, leading them through digital transformation and industry change. He is particularly passionate about growing the Lending and Corporate Banking partner ecosystem at Finastra. 

Andy has a very successful track record in managing high performing, specialized teams, having previously spent more than eighteen years in the British Army and twenty years as MD Sales for FISGlobal, a global financial software provider, where he grew the capital markets and lending business and established offices in Asia, Australia, South Africa and the UAE.

For the past two years at Finastra, he drove the company’s growth strategy across Europe, strengthening local footprints, accelerating sales and deepening customer partnerships across payments, capital markets and Corporate Banking.
Andy enjoys spending time with his motorbike, having experienced sufficient endurance in his earlier career.

Lekshmi Nair

Global Head of Strategic Accounts

Lekshmi heads up Finastra’s Global & Strategic Accounts team. Lekshmi and her team are responsible for driving the account strategy across Finastra’s most strategic accounts, nurturing and expanding existing partnerships.

Lekshmi brings over two decades of experience in the financial services industry and has worked across the design, development, implementation and sales of banking and trading platforms. Lekshmi has a deep understanding of our clients and the markets we serve and has been instrumental in instituting the operating model for Finastra’s Global & Strategic Accounts portfolio.

Prior to joining Finastra, Lekshmi worked in investment banking, starting her career at Barclays and moving to CIBC.

Benoit Riquet

Chief Product Officer, Treasury & Capital Markets

Benoît Riquet is the Chief Product Officer for Finastra’s Treasury and Capital Markets business unit (BU).  He has 20 years of experience working in the software industry, focusing on product management and engineering.

At Finastra, he leads the growth of the BU’s portfolio, defining the strategy, delivering end-to-end solutions, and renewing their relevance through modernization towards Cloud and an extended ecosystem.

Prior to joining Finastra, he has held various leadership positions at Calypso and Sophis.

He has a MSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from ENSIMAG, in France.

Angus Ross

Chief Growth Officer, Global Head of Embedded Finance (BaaS)

Angus is a passionate digital transformation executive with 25 years experience revolutionizing financial services, telecommunications and technology industries. He is an entrepreneurial leader in customer engagement and profitability, embedded finance and rapid digitization.

Angus leads Finastra’s Banking as a Service and Embedded Finance business, and the partnerships required to deliver them. In this role, Angus is responsible for driving Finastra's embedded finance strategy, product management, business development, sales and marketing, and co-innovation with customers, technology alliances and digital brands.

Prior to joining Finastra in 2021, Angus led Digital Transformation in Retail and Commercial Banking for Deloitte Consulting. As a member of Deloitte's Global Leadership team for Digital Transformation, he was responsible for orchestrating customer and digital strategy, FinTech ecosystems, operations simplification, and technology modernization for US domestic and global banks.

Before joining Deloitte in 2016, Angus was Head of Transformation at Westpac Banking Corporation, responsible for managing all strategic transformation programs across the retail and business banking divisions (circa $1.5B). He has led core banking, regulatory change and credit card transformation programs for Citi; founded an Internet startup; and spent 6 years with Telstra as GM Retail Strategy, Partnerships and Acquisitions.

Angus began his career as an Attorney and Accountant with EY Corporate Restructuring, and transitioned to EY Consulting where he spent 6 years leading high-tech strategy programs in Australia and the United States. Angus brings a unique blend of industry, consulting, and entrepreneurial experience to his clients. He has a track record of transforming banks, effectively bridges strategy, execution and innovation; and has a deep understanding of banking imperatives and technology enablers.

Ignacio Sanchez

Practice Manager, Treasury and Capital Markets, Americas

Ignacio Sanchez leads the Treasury & Capital Markets consulting team in the Americas. He is responsible for supporting the regional strategy for new and existing clients as a product and industry expert across multiple functions in financial institutions.

With over 17 years’ experience in financial services, he is a Fixed Income and Money Markets specialist.

Prior to his current position in Finastra, he held several roles at Citi’s Markets Unit in Mexico, including as a fixed income sales trader, interbank funding and liquidity trading, regulatory and markets information and client on-boarding.

He has Finance studies from the ITESM and a Project Management Diploma form the UIA in Mexico City.

Merten Slominsky

Vice President, Sales Europe, Middle East & Africa, Payments (Payments)

Merten is responsible for all direct and indirect software and services sales for our Payments products in Europe, Middle East & Africa, closely cooperating with our global partner management to leverage sales across the region. He joined Finastra in 2020, was originally responsible for Finastra’s sales activities in Central & Eastern Europe for our complete product range. In June 2021 his portfolio was expanded to also include Southern Europe.

He is excited about our future-oriented approach to Open Banking, Banking-as-a-Service, Platform and Cloud offerings and sees enormous potential in the Financial Software Market, especially for our Payments solutions.

Merten brings over 25 years of experience in leadership, sales & services management, business development and strategy development and execution for international software companies. Prior to Finastra, he was General Manager and VP at the Business Intelligence company MicroStrategy, where he developed and grew the company's business and its partnerships with resellers and system integrators. Previous leadership positions include VP EMEA at open source and cloud software vendor Alfresco and Enterprise VP at Lexmark and Kofax, a leading Capture and Robotics Process Automation vendor. Merten also led for 7 years at IBM Software Group, where he managed NorthWest Europe for the ECM Business Unit post the Filenet acquisition.

Merten studied Economics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and did his Master Degree in Utrecht, Netherlands. He likes to spend time in Germany and Spain, enjoying all sorts of water sports. He lives with his wife Nicola and their two adult children near Düsseldorf, Germany.

Paul Thomalla

Head of Industry and Regulatory Affairs (Payments)

Paul is accountable for working with the Payments Industry and Regulators to understand, influence and ultimately, help lead the change in payments across the globe. Amongst other areas he has advised on the UK’s NPA,  PS2 and PSD3, CRD5, the role of AI and Blockchain in Payments and how to regulate them.

He has extensive knowledge of the changes in domestic payment policies around the world and why the change is required. Over the last 3 years he has meet with over 500 Executives to advise and discuss the changes that digitalization will bring to Payments.

Prior to Finastra Paul was ACI Worldwide firstly as the CEO and General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa, and then developing and running WW Corporate Relations. Also, he had executive roles at Stratus Technology, IBM, Destiny USA, Microsoft and Catalyst Technologies.


Paul currently also serves on the UK Payment System Regulator (PSR) advisory board, Executive committee of the European Credit Research Institute (ECRI) of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) a Brussels based think tank and forum that debates EU affairs covering all European financial policy areas.

He also served on The Payments Strategy Forum for the UK, Ecommerce Europe’s Payments Experts Taskforce, the Executive board of Nexo, the international association that develops and promotes open messaging standards (ISO20022) for card payments.

Serge Tohme

VP of Sales EMEA, Treasury & Capital Markets

Serge Tohme is the VP of Europe Middle East and Africa for Finastra, a global Fintech force. In his role, Serge is responsible for establishing and rolling-out the Finastra growth strategy across Treasury & Capital Markets in the EMEA region.

Under Serge’s leadership, Finastra is successfully driving its mission of transforming a financial institution’s business vision towards financial technology that increases business value. The company’s performance in the region has closely mirrored global market shares, with leadership position across a number of technology areas.

With two decades of financial and banking solutions experience, Serge brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise, having worked across key functions including Treasury front to back solutions and Enterprise Risk Management.

Prior to this, Serge was the Vice-President of Sales at FIS where he led the sales activities and drove exponential growth in the Middle East, North Africa Region & Turkey.  Prior to FIS Serge was working for Thomson Reuters where he managed different roles within sales and account management. 

Serge’s career started when he joined Citibank as an Account Manager and was responsible for managing sales activities for Citibank’s Global Transaction Services in Beirut & Dubai.  In his role at Citibank, Serge conducted several workshops in Dubai, Jordan, Beirut, Afghanistan and Algeria and has been awarded the Citigroup Quality Excellence Award.

Serge holds a bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance from the Lebanese American University and an Executive MBA from the London Business School.

Michael Vrontamitis

Lead Industry Principal, Lending (Trade, cash & corporate banking)

Michael Vrontamitis is the Lead Industry Principal for Finastra’s Lending Business Unit, which covers Cash Management, Trade and Working Capital Management, Retail and Corporate Lending. He also advises several start-ups, including Kountable Inc, and is a member of the World Trade Board.

A renowned industry thought leader, he is particularly passionate about the intersection between sustainability, technology and finance and the impact digitalization can have in narrowing the trade finance gap and enabling sustainable supply chains.

Prior to Finastra, Michael spent 25 years with Standard Chartered, spanning both wholesale and retail clients, as well as investor relations, working in Hong Kong, London and Singapore. He was the Global Head of Trade Finance Product, and most recently responsible for the bank’s trade finance business with European and American headquartered companies. He also looked after sales, product, distribution, service and implementation in Europe and the Americas.

Michael has been a member of the BAFT Board of Directors and BAFT’s Global Trade Industry Council. He was also part of the ICC Banking Commission Advisory Board, where he co-chaired the ICC Working Group on the digitalization of trade finance and chaired the SWIFT Offshore CNY Best Practice Working Group on Cash & Trade.

Michael was recognized by The Asset as The Renminbi Banker of the Year in 2014. He has a degree and Master’s in Economics from the University of Warwick.

Isabel Fernandez

EVP Lending (Lending, trade, cash and corporate banking)

Isabel is responsible for the leadership and growth of Finastra’s Lending Business Unit. She brings an incredible wealth of expertise in financial services and technology-led transformation.

Thriving in purpose-led, tech-savvy organizations, Isabel is passionate about digital transformation as well as climate action and the need for banks, customers and governments to collaborate for a more sustainable world.

Isabel was most recently at ING Bank where she was a Board Member and Global Head of Wholesale Banking, overseeing growth in Lending, Financial Markets and Transaction Services, including Payments & Cash Management. In this role she focused on accelerating growth, new business models and digitalization and transformational projects including strategic technology-led innovation and Know Your Customer (KYC) initiatives. Isabel was also instrumental in driving ING’s global sustainability strategy.

Prior to that, Isabel built her career over 16 years at GE Company in various roles, most recently as Commercial Leader. Here she headed the global sales organization including Shared Services, Sourcing and Partnerships. Other roles include President & CEO Global Bank Loans at GE Capital Americas and Head of Enterprise Clients. These experiences contribute to her stellar leadership, execution and change management capabilities. She has also worked at ABN AMRO Bank and is among others Non-Executive Director and Head of the Audit Committee at Pegasus Europe.

Isabel has a degree in Law from Leiden University. She is married with three children.

Simon Paris

Chief Executive Officer

Simon takes responsibility for Finastra’s strategic direction and growth. His leadership steers the company as it becomes the world’s leading ecosystem orchestrator for providers and consumers of financial services everywhere. With this clear strategic intent, he champions the company’s core technology solutions and open development platform in accelerating collaboration and innovation, to unlock the potential of people, businesses and communities.

A firm believer in the principles of doing well by doing good, Simon chairs the World Trade Board and is passionate about how technology and open trade can drive financial inclusion and improve people’s lives. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Everbridge, a critical event management (CEM) software company, and on the Board of Directors for Thomson Reuters.

An inspiring and trusted fintech thought leader, Simon speaks regularly at large-scale events including the annual World Trade Symposium, Paris FinTech Forum and The Milken Asia Summit. He is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, with refreshing and candid views on equality in the workplace. Featuring in Bank Innovation’s ‘Innovators to Watch’ list back in 2018, Simon has since been named a top 50 financial technology CEO by The Financial Technology Report two years running, as well as a top 20 CEO in Europe by the Software Report. He was also recognized in the CEO Today Awards 2021.

Simon joined Finastra (formerly Misys) as President in 2015, was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2017 and became Chief Executive Officer in June 2018. He brings more than 25 years of sales, management and global leadership expertise to the company, having previously held the role of President, Industry Cloud, at SAP. Prior to that he was a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company.

Barry Rodrigues

EVP Payments (Payments)

Barry is responsible for Finastra’s payments organization.

An experienced senior leader, he has a compelling track record of working in both early stage and growth businesses, spanning digital banking, credit cards, buy now pay later, merchant acquiring, corporate/virtual cards and networks.

Barry has built his 35-year career in financial services around the world in leading companies. Most recently he was a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer at Barclays Cards and Payments where he oversaw the digital banks and credit card divisions in the US and Germany, as well as merchant acquiring, corporate card and point of sale businesses in the UK. He brings deep payments knowledge and strong leadership expertise to his role at Finastra.

Previously, Barry oversaw all payments products for Citibank on the consumer side of the business, where he and his team enabled first of its kind digital payment solutions. He also spent 25 years in payments-focused leadership roles at American Express. These include EVP and GM of American Express Bank UK (corporate banking, treasury, private banking and correspondent banking), GM of the Merchant Acquiring business in Asia, and President of Amex Global Network Services.

Barry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from London Guildhall University, as well as an MBA from George Washington University.
